NERVESA. Giancarlo Zanardo transfers his historic aircraft to the Jonathan Collection foundation. Zanardo, entrepreneur and pilot, born in Conegliano in 1939, has had a passion for models since his youth — first boats, then aeroplanes. A passion that later led him to restore old aircraft and to build replicas of them, the best known of which is the 1986 replica of the Fokker DR1 triplane flown by Manfred von Richthofen, the Red Baron of the Great War.
